Miri Alvarez (Rufa Mae Quinto) works for an international organization as an operative that protects inventors and scientists from terrorists. The mission went horribly wrong so she was suspended and sent back to Manila.
After having trouble adjusting to normal life, she investigates a series of mysterious disappearances among high-IQ individuals, and their eventual reappearance as flesh-eating monsters.
And in the course of her investigation, she discovers a link to her past and her long-dead parents.
